Existence of horrific disease in Kachchi a serious blow on face of humanity in 21st century

This is an undeniable fact that Balochistan is one of the richest areas of world because of its mineral resources and long coast but despite it, its people are suffering from such terrible diseases, which are unimaginable for people of modern world.

Any such disease, was reported in media few days hack in Lundi Khosa area. This is not any inaccessible area of Balochistan rather it is at a distance of twenty five kilometer from Dhadar, the head quarter of historical Kachchi district of Balochistan.

Lundi Khosa is comprised of three to four villages, having a population of eight thousands.

According to locals, children of area are confronted with the terrible disease for last 40 years. They said, first of all scars appear on skin of children that destroy their eyes and entire face with the passage of time.

“The children, who suffer from the disease, remain in a painful condition till their death”, said locals.

Presently, there are around 10 affected children in the area. “This disease has claimed lives of hundreds of children since its emergence in 70s”, said Nasir Baloch, head of a non governmental organization (NGO) that had carried out a lot of work to highlight the miseries of people.

Lambasting, the government, he said no serious step has been taken by the government to prevent the disease or lessen the pain of children who suffer from the disease.

Manzoor Ahmed, whose two children were died due to killer disease, also made a complaint that they contacted authorities in 1998 and apprised them about the horrible disease but unfortunately, authorities did not pay any importance to it. “What to talk

of any help, the government authorities hurled threats saying disease should not be highlighted in media as it will bring a bad name for them”, he said and adding “our children need an emergent and serious attention of the world”.

Yasmin Baloch, the President of Continental Development Society said, they had tried their best to divert the attention of government authorities towards the miseries of affected children but

unfortunately the government authorities did not fulfill their responsibilities.

She said, they met different ministers to get some help for the affected people but they did not extend any help.

Following news reports about the disease, Chief Minister Balochistan took notice of miseries of people, and medical teams were dispatched to the area to prepare a report.

There are different reports about the mysterious disease, however, according to local people the disease continued to grip the area for the last 40 years, and so far it had claimed hundreds of children’s lives.

According to skin specialists, it is a hereditary disease and the people of the area have been advised to avoid marriages with their close relatives.

On the other hand, people in the area do not agree with the notion of doctors. They accused authorities concerned for not paying serious attention towards this disease.

Two teams of Health Department visited the area on the directives of Chief Minister of Balochistan.

It has been admitted in the report, compiled by the team, headed by Doctor Essa Khan Jogezai that in the past no successful treatment was given to the children suffering from the skin disease.

According to the report at present, seven children ranging between 2 to 8 years of age were suffering from this disease.

Disease has been diagnosed as Xeroderma Pigmentosum which is an autosomal recessive genetic disorder of DNA in which the damage is caused by ultraviolet light.

Reports say that unfortunately the treatment of the victims was grim and fewer than 40 percent of individuals with this disease survive beyond age of 20 years.

The most obvious and important part of treatment was avoiding exposure to the sunlight.

A request was made in the report for provision of sun blocking agents and other required medicines which, however, are not available in the provincial capital for the treatment of the affected children.

This is indeed a frightening disease. However, is this because of neglect or nature of the disease as the disease is as per 'Baloch hal' believed to be 'autosomal' genetic disorder?  And Ma'am May I ask you why did u Publish this news on your site as their are a lot of news on the Baloch hal, why just this selective one? Kind regards. (ff)

Ma'am. Would you be kind enough to translate what Mr. Yahya is uttering out so that I may soothe his concerns and, of course, have my ventagepoint on his point of view? Bundle of thanks.

HAHA. OK BRO be nonchalant. If I don't know Balochi alot. It doesn't mean I am Punjabi.  And as far as English is concerned I also use my English for Balochistan.

These are just two example. And again I am chuckling, why my English infuriated you, don't be hollow to indulge in personal mudsling, be tolerant. Very thanks for your comments. God bless you.

Sir. I want to share my one experience with you. I have seen widespread  propaganda in National media against Balochistan. like check out this.
http://www.dawn.com/wps/wcm/connect/dawn-content-library/dawn/the-newspaper/letters-to-the-editor/the-balochistan-package-010
But kind of horrifying thing is that 'no body' was there to respond, but I did.

So, I think we have to learn English even for ourselves. How we will present our miseries, suffering to others if we can not communicate in World's langua franca? And My English will not cause you harm, so you need not to worry.

Dear Saad and Yahya:

It’s my humble request to both of you that please stop threatening.
It’s an open discussion forum so nobody has right to enforce his viewpoint on other member.

Every body has right to share what he thinks about the topic but yes as you guys already aware that this is not the political site so any kind of discussion that turned the mood of the topic into harsh threatening or political extremism would not be acceptable at all.

We want peaceful discussion that’s why you are not seeing NEWS sections in diwwan that was available before. .

Once thing more I would like to inform you and other members too that first language of Diwwan is Balochi (all kind of accents and dialects ) and English is allowed for those who don't understand or cant read/write Baluchi. Because we want our all Baloch (of any part of the world) to come and share his experience and thoughts.

@Yahyaa: Diwwan wa balochani gen' bale brat edaa East Balochi kanok ham baazan' o aa makkuran e balochi a pahmet nakanant. HaaS hama Baloch keh Panjab, Sind o NWFP a neshtagan’

Diwwan e sara dar-balochi e ejazat pameshka ent keh may gapp o tran e taha daramad o hama watig keh dar molka neshtag o Balochi a chey deerant bahar zurt bekanant.

O mana omaiten keh agan ey mardom ham mudaam diwwan a aahaan bekanant allama aa rouch kaet keh ey may gappan sarpad bayant o goun maara Balochi a traan kanant.

I hope you both guys take this positively and continue your participation at Baaskani Diwwan

Respectable administrator. Well, I personally never meant any thing political on this site, of course, after your first advice or reprimand what ever one names it. But as a reality this was not a political in nature. It is universally admitted fact that " All is well that ends well". Ma'am you just read out the upper content of my rejoinder, however, they were basically superficial and meant for illicitness of my point. The essence of my reply was that English or any other language for that matter ought not to be considered derogatory and English primarily is once need now-a-days. In whole honesty, I did not mean anything political, but politics is deeply associated with other things, like history, poetry, writings, etc. We can not outrightly do away with it, no matter we remove news section or not. Thereupon, maturity dictates that we should not hate politics to obsessive level to straight jacket everything into politics. Nevertheless I will try my best to stick my self with set rules of the forum.......... Best regards

Dear brother Saad

We are very much pleased to have such an expert and over-confident "Englishman" like you on Baaskaani Diwaan. I have learned so many "outdated" English words from you so far, and I am looking forward to seeing more and more from you.
So far I have just seen two posts(threads) of you on Baaskaani Diwaan and both of them are a mixture of over-confidence, underestimation and self-congratulation, which are a clear-cut substantiation of your slef-praising temperament.
Dear brother, memorizing a pack of outdated words can never make you civilized and educated unless you retain the quality of understanding and  respecting others' view point.
Two days earlier, I read a post of you in which you had tried to teach Kokir to become logical while expressing his/her viewpoint, and today again you are desperately trying to impress us by uttering your false and fictitious estimation. I never understand why you are so hot and  perturbed at the given news about the fatal disease because of which many Baloch children are dreadfully suffering.
Brother Saad, criticism is the easiest job one can do and you seem very weak to have chosen the easiest job for the expression of your borrowed views. You do have the right to criticize but there should be some solid reasons behind your criticism so that one can be compelled to think that you are a constructive critic. You have criticized sister Zahida for publishing this news but I can not see a single reason why you are so disturbed by it.
You are teaching us to become logical but I really am very much afraid to say that you are still unaware of the word "logic". Does logic teach you to criticize a piece of good work just for the sake of criticism? If THIS is your "logic", then I am once again sorry to say that you are in the crawling stage of learning, or even an "unborn philosopher".
If you are in dire need of popularity, so please respect others' viewpoint. You will surely receive the same in response, but by desperately imposing your fake logic, you will will earn nothing but degradation and mortification.

Hope you will change your unacceptable attitude towards others' views.

Mr, MAZAR. I couldn't agree with you anymore. Let me extend my heart felt gratitude to you to pinpoint my mistakes, which surely are cause of pain for the estemmed member of this forum. I seek apology from all those who have been victim of my as u said "over-confidence", "underestimation", and self-praising attitude. If I inadevertnly tried to teach Mr/Miss Kokir the logic, I deeply regret the error. I eqaully regret unwarrantedly criticizing Madam. I seek apologise from you for showerng you with ' out-dated' words. And use of these words also portend to my fractious personality. I seek apology from all who have been impacted by my regressive behavior. And here is common adage "Barking dog seldom bite". This exactly fits me. In last, again, I am very thankful to you for pointing out my grevious mistakes.
