Title: Lets learn Baluchi with English Instructions:
Post by: Zahida Raees Raji on June 22, 2005, 04:44:59 PM
Dear brothers and sisters
Assalam-o-alaikum

It is our routine observation over net that so many Baloch fellows specially those, they are living out side from their homeland or living among non-Baluchi gathering does not speak and understand Baluchi.

Even they are interested to learn their native language but due to lack of availability of materials or institution they could not get their needs.

I would like to start a thread to provide our brothers/sister an idea how to present our language in front of learners.

Here I’ll share some short phrases with English instructions you can also guide me whenever you feel I am mistaking anywhere.

I am sure with our demo learning lessons learners will be able at least to understand their routine life terminologies in easy way.

We all are teachers and all are students so please don’t hesitate to learn new things and share whatever you know to your fellows.

Have a fun. :)

Thanks and Best Regards
Raji:

Dear sister

Just one comment regarding balochi alphabets....
i suppose there is no F and Q in balochi... syed also not included these in his book "balochi siyahage  raastain navessag".. may be syed version was from coastal balochistan or may be irani balochistan and upper region balochi has these alphabets...

so far i m concern... i really can not even pronunciate these or differenciate K from Q..... :((

thats why my mullah used to beat me while reciting the Holy Koran... :'(

ur clarification plz

ur clarification plz

thanks

doustegen' braat Ahmad:
Zindag baate,

thanks for your comments. I think your concern is absoultly right. as per my knowledge and understanding syed's version is from coastal balochistan.

Baloch belongs to Afghanistan and Iranian parts of Balochistan can easily pronounce F and Q.

If you dont mind i am thinking to present this issue on language and culture group so that we can get much more satisfied answers from scholars and experts.
