Neither the Earth asked the heart,
Lying deep within its core, about its dreams
Nor did the sky tremble upon
Hearing wistful songs of flying birds,
Those who had set out on a quest for love
Have ceased their search,
Dreams and Memories of sweetest times
Cannot be weaved in unwilling hearts,
Tears cannot be bought,
Upon the burning ambers of desires
Feet cannot be burned
Wounds cannot be healed,
I was pained when you failed
To change the lines of fate upon our hands,
I jolted awake when in a dream
I saw your eyes reflect a final meeting,
No one wants reproach
As a realization of their dreams,
No one wants separation in their stars,
Let us go back to the fortune tellers
And ask them for comforting lies
As this truth is unbearable,
The cloud spoke and said
That it held the interpretation for my dream
It said, "The ground on which you stand
Has shifted from beneath your feet
And those who took each step together
Will never be together again".

زاھدہ رئیس راجی
نے زمین ءَ وتی، باتن ءَ وپتگیں ، واھگانی دل ءِ
آکبت پُرس اِتگ
نے کہ آجوھیں مُرگانی چیہالگاں،
آزماں لرزاِتگ
مہر ءِ پَھنات ءِ شوھاز ءَ سرگپتگیں،
پدگراں تم کُتگ
بے مُرادیں دِلاں، بینگیں یات ءِ ساھگ، پتایگ نہ بنت
ارس مایگ نہ بیت
واھشانی پُریں انگرانی سرءَ ، پاد سوچگ نہ بنت
ٹپّ دوچگ نہ بنت
رُژن ءِ دست ءِ دل ءِ کِشک ءِ مٹینگ ءَ
تو کہ بے سوب اَت ئے، ما اوں دردیگ اتیں
تو گُڑینتگ چَہ واب ءَ ھما ساھت ءَ
زندمانی وتی ، گُڈی دیدار ءَ چمانی آدینک اَت ئے
کس نہ من ایت کہ وابانی تاویلءِ پُشدر،
ملامت بہ بیت
بھت ءِ استار ءِ ھوری ، جتائ بہ بیت
بیا دوبر ماسگی بلّوکاناں گوش ایں
مارا دروگیں تسلّا یے ھمراہ بہ دئے
راستی ءِ پتّرءَ گوات سگ اِت نہ کنت
زرد ءِ پاسانی تاویل پچ گپتگیں،
نود کسّہ کن اَنت
پادءِ چیر ءِ زمین ، چَہ تہ ءَ کنز اتگ
گام گام ءِ مساپر، نی ھمراہ نہ بنت
